 Dark Soul

Stumbled across this beauty while perusing the vault.

Granted, the mod's in Russian, but it's something to keep an eye on. Supposedly, you can translate the mod into English by tinkering with the TLK file, though I have yet to get it working. Here's to hoping they throw out a translated version sometime soon. Wink

Shocked Oh, wow. If it works I might actually bother to buy MotB. I wish I was Russian....

I just thought I'd let all the Bishop lovers know that Dark Soul has been successfully translated into English. Smile You just need to download the translated mod, which can be found at the link that Auddi provided, and then the translated .tlk file, which can be found here:

That's what I thought judging from the screenshots, but I thought I would mention it just in case some people might want to run through it anyways.

I appreciate you mentioning the quality of the English, though, because that was something I couldn't vouch for, having not downloaded the mod. Thanks. Smile

So I just had to dl this mod and try it out, being a silly Bishop fan-girl and all Embarassed

I liked it quite a bit. Some good ideas and dialogues with Bishop, a bit of jealous tension between he and Gann, and a satisfying, if not exactly happy, epilogue. When playing MoTB the first time I remember thinking that Bishop probably would have really liked Rashamen due to its wildness, so it's no surprise that he would want to stay there in the end.

It's just too bad that not all the dialogue lines show up so you know what you're saying. The English seems more like a literal translation of each word, which makes a lot of the sentences come out awkward or nonsensical. I think the one who did the translation is also Russian and may not have been completely fluent.

Still worth playing though, especially if you like Bishop. Very Happy
