M3U files Does anybody know if there actually is a way to change M3U files into mp3's? Or is it impossible to do? I've been scouring around the net trying to find out and have come up with nothing...

I think m3u file are just winAmp generated text files - i.e. a way to show all the mp3s you have in a nice neat text list. I've found several apps to make m3us.
Are you actually playing these files, or are you just finding these lists on the net? And if you're looking for specific songs or something let me know - I know several places on which to find...things.

I thought I read somewhere that they are actually URLs to locations on the net where the mp3s can be downloaded.
It's no big deal - I can still listen to them on my laptop...

Ok - from what I can tell, after doing a little research - if the playlist shows the files as being from c:\my music\xxx type thing - then you're out of luck - it's just a text file. If it's a stream...then you need to find out where the stream is coming from. If the site has one of those jukebox applet things, you might be able to look at the source code to see the parameters of the applet and grab where the file is coming from. If you want to give me the URL of the site I can go take a look...

Ah, it's no big deal, myn. Like I said, I can listen to them easy enough on my lap top, just not my mp3 player. Thanks anyway, tho...
