I'd definitely lean towards the older end of the scale, so my vote goes for 60-70, maybe as far as 80.

I like the idea of tiefling living longer than humans. But I've seen games/stories where they have a lifespan like humans and in some they can live up to a 1000 years.. But if we were voting my vote would be like Auddi's. Being a bit older suits his character. By the way he talks he seems to have a lot a life experiences. Not that you need to be really old to have a lot of life experience..

Another one for the older camp here Like Auddi said, 60 to 80 sounds good. I always got the impression that tieflings had a lifespan similar to a half-elf, say 500 years or something. I suppose it kinda depends on how much demon/devil they have in them and how much of another race.
As for the Bodhi abduction, I can definitely see how it would be against his beliefs to be raised (especially considering his death sound). You'd probably end up with quite a fuss for doing so (and why is that raising so special and different from a normal one anyway?). I'd suggest putting something different in, though if someone else is being abducted you'd still have a conflict and things might get a bit crowded and messy. So... Perhaps something else somewhere else? I don't know, I'm just throwing ideas around

If memory serves, tieflings mature roughly at the same rate as humans, but their lifespans are upward of something like 200.
I was under the impression that HD had a fair bit of elven blood due to his small model, so it's probably higher. Is there something about that in his in-game writeup?

Yes, he's half-elven. There's very little information in general about him really, but here's the quotes I have:
Quote: Beneath this petty poet's skin, I am a planeswalker and a Doomguard, berk. I am the best swordsman of the Prime Material, second only to Drizzt himself.
In Sigil, only one can best me and she is my half-sister. I have survived the Outer Planes and a year of service in the retinue of a Baalor.
Above all, I am a tiefling: I am a half-elf and while my father was of the fair folk, my mother was no human. Will that be enough?
I find the fact that his father was the elf and his mother the demon very fascinating...I assume the other way around would be much more common.

When Bodhi abducts the PC's lover, it isn't about the NPCs love for the PC, it's about the PC's love for the NPC. Bodhi is abducting the lover to play head games with the PC. If the PC loves HD more than Anomen and has told HD (and possibly Anomen) as much, it would be really strange for Bodhi to take the trouble of abducting Anomen when she could get more bang for her buck by abducting HD instead.
So yeah, I get what you're saying about HD not having to prove his affection for the PC by getting abducted, but it really has nothing to do with HD's feelings at all.
Likewise, most romance mods probably wouldn't feature a Bodhi abduction at all if were any other way. Most modders are just as sick of the Bodhi abduction as you are and would cheerfully have left it out if it didn't break the whole "Bodhi playing head games" scenario. At least the modders I know.
The only ones where no abduction takes place is those were love cannot be declared because nothing commits until ToB.

I've reworked the timing of his confession/commitment dialog, so the romance will still be uncommitted at the Bodhi encounter. In fact, I feel stupid for not realizing sooner that this is a better, more Haer'Dalis-like way for things to play out. He's a drama queen. It works for him.
In this particular case, my dislike of the Bodhi encounter stems less from how "required" it is, and more from not being able to come up with a believable or pleasant resurrection scenario for Haer'Dalis specifically. I really don't like where my imagination goes with the whole thing. But, if people end up not liking the way I set it all up, they can feel free to tell me all about it after they've played it. ;p

For timered LTs, there are 23 for SoA, and probably less than 10 for ToB (haven't pieced apart ToB yet). There's also a list of talks that the PC can initiate on her own, and I have well over a dozen of those right now though that number is growing almost everyday.

This looks promising... Thanks!
Will Haer´Dalis be romancable for "bad women" too? Please correct me if I´m wrong but Edwin is the only option for female evil players at the moment I think.

The only requirement I'm considering is a fairly low INT check (11+, mostly because a really stupid PC wouldn't be able to keep up with HD at all). Other than that, any female PC can romance him, regardless of race, class or alignment. I'm partial to evil PCs, so there will definitely be replies that reflect the bad girl angle, and HD is not the type to be bothered by bloodthirstiness or general cruelty.

I know how you feel. I check the page at least once a day, which often turns into games of "Is it done yet? No? Okay, how about now ?" But, you can't rush perfection. I can only keep myself entertained with the knowledge that soon, I'll be able to mess with HD's earrings to my heart's content.
