NWN Diamond Won't Start

First things first, try running it as admin if you haven't already.

I've tried that, but it gave me the same result.

Alright, try running it with Windows XP compatibility. If that doesn't work, make sure you're up-to-date with your Windows patches and then get the critical rebuild here: http://nwn.bioware.com/support/patch.html

Have you tried changing the compatibility modes? I run NWN Diamond (on Vista) in Windows XP (Service Pack 2), not as admin, and it's always run fine. I don't know squat about Windows 7, but if it has the User Account Control garbage that tries to Big Brother your every move, I have that shut off, too.

Edit: Auddi ninja. ;p Yeah, make sure you have the critical rebuild, didn't even think of that.

I've already tried changing the compatibility modes and it says the same thing. And if the critical rebuild doesn't work, should I try turning off my UAC? And thank you for your help! Smile
