Due to the major influx of spammers false accounts, I've had to ban certain email domains. Also, just to note in case I delete you by accident, the following things in your account will probably get it wiped:
1) Any email address with a .info, .ru, .pl - sorry if yours is legit, but so far every one of these has been crap
2) Registering an account and then not logging in ever (let's say a week or so == account deleted)
3) Links to weird, place-holder websites (not just the obvious porn and cialis ones)
How do you avoid this?
1) LOG IN - if you want to lurk, that's fine, but at least log in and send me a PM telling me you're going to just lurk around.
2) Post something (duh - and this is the preferred method, really)
3) Choose an avatar. Even if you hate it - spammers aren't interested in that - if you pick an avatar at least I'll know you're human and not a bot.
I've turned auto-registration back on so I'm not stuck approving them, but I reserve the right to change that back without notice if we start getting hit up again.
